We are so lucky and privileged to live on the Fraser Coast and to see the Awesome

Humpback Whales that frequent our waters from July to November every year.

The tranquil waters of Hervey Bay offer the opportunity of a lifetime to come face to face with the fifth largest animal alive on this Planet.

The mighty Humpback Whale is the most playful of all the large Whales and it is amazing that such bulk can launch themselves clear out of the water (breaching),

and yet so gentle as they playfully mug the tour boats. Some of the more bizarre behaviours include Spy-hopping, Pec-slapping Tailing and the extremely popular socialising as they become increasingly inquisitive as they approach the boats.
